Orders & Shipping
How long will it take to receive my order?
We're a small business, and we print many items ourselves, so please allow 7-10 business days (not including weekends or holidays) for us to prepare your order for shipping.
U.S. orders should arrive 3-5 business days after items have been shipped. International shipping may take anywhere from 1-12 weeks. You will receive a shipping notification after your order has shipped (check your spam folder if you do not receive one).
If you placed a sticker-only order, it will be sent untracked via USPS First Class Mail. Sticker-only orders usually arrive within 6-7 business days. If you ordered multiple items, stickers will sometimes ship separately from other items in your order.
Please make sure your shipping information is correct during check out. We will not refund or replace items, if they are sent to the wrong address. We are not responsible for loss, damage, or delay.
Can an order be changed?
An address cannot be edited after it has already shipped. We recommend contacting the shipping service to see if they are able to assist you further. If an address is incorrect and a package cannot be delivered, it will be returned to us. Upon receiving the returned package, we will issue you a store credit. If you would like the items shipped to the correct address, you will need to place a new order.
If you need to edit your order after you have already placed it, we will do everything we can to edit it for you, but if your order has already been printed, we cannot change it. Please double check your items before placing your order.
Can an order be cancelled?
Due to the large volume of orders we process on a daily basis, we cannot guarantee that we'll be able to catch your order to cancel it before it ships out.
Can you apply a discount code to a past order?
We are not able to do price adjustments at this time. All discounts must be applied at the time of checkout and cannot be retroactively applied. This includes sales, automatic discounts, and affiliate codes.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Please be patient on the delivery dates. International tracking may take a few days to show up in the system, and not all countries' postal services keep this information updated, so tracking on international orders may be missing or incomplete.
Please be sure to keep an eye on your tracking information in case your package is taken to a local pickup location or post office. If the carrier leaves it there and it isn't picked up within their holding period, they may return it to us. In that case, you'll need to cover the shipping cost for us to resend the package. Staying up-to-date with your tracking will help avoid any extra shipping fees!
International customers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs. Orders can take anywhere from 2-12 weeks to be delivered.
What if my order was lost/delivered to the wrong address/etc?
Unfortunately, we do not have any control over packages once they leave our office. If you have any questions about your order after it has shipped, please contact the carrier.
Inkwell Threads is not responsible for lost or stolen packages and they will not be refunded or exchanged.
Chargeback policy
If a chargeback, PayPal claim, or fraud dispute is initiated on a purchase from Inkwell Threads, we reserve the right to refuse future service to that customer. In such cases, Inkwell Threads may block the customer from placing any future orders on our website. Please note, this decision is final and will not be reversed.
Returns & Product Issues
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Yes! Please refer to our return & exchange policy here.
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, you typically won’t need to return the item to us, and we’ll usually send a replacement. To ensure a smooth process, please select 'damaged item' or 'wrong item' as your return reason when submitting your request. If prompted, be sure to include photos of the damaged item.
What if there is an issue with the item I received?
If there’s an issue with the item you received, such as it being damaged, defective, or incorrect, you typically won’t need to send it back, and we’ll usually arrange a replacement.

I have an issue with a past order. Can you help?
We're happy to help fix any order mistakes that may occur. However, order mistakes need to be brought to our attention within 30 days of the delivery date. We are not able to accept claims outside of that period. We ask that you closely review your product as soon as it's delivered to ensure there are no issues and let us know of any problems immediately so we can get it taken care of for you.
Product & Company Info
Do your shirts fit true to size?
All of our shirts and sweatshirts feature a unisex fit and generally run true to size. For a regular fit, we recommend ordering your usual size, or you can size up for a more oversized look.
Be sure to check the size chart on the product page to ensure you're selecting the perfect size!
What printing method do you use?
We use two different printing methods: DTG (direct-to-garment), where designs are printed directly onto the fabric, and traditional screen printing.
We do not use vinyl on any of our products.
What are your recommended care instructions?
Printed apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and like colors. Avoid using fabric softeners, bleach, or dry cleaning.
Tumble-dry on low heat. Do not iron the printed area
Follow these instructions carefully to avoid fading and cracking of the print and shrinking the garment, which can occur if you wash or dry it on a high setting.

Yes, we do! We've officially launched our shop on Faire for wholesale orders. You can check out our shop here.
Please note, during busier times of the year, we may cut off wholesale orders so we can focus on fulfilling our customer orders.
