Boiled Potatoes Tee

I went back and forth about getting this shirt for forever, but I finally made the call and I am SO GLAD. This is by far my favorite shirt, and I have to fight the urge to wear it every day. The quality is fantastic (as per the usual) and the design is just priceless. And I was surprised with how many people have told me, “love your shirt!” So buy it. Just do it. You’ll love it, too.

I have been eye-balling this t-shirt for about two years now. I never ventured to buy it because I always had so many other tee's. But the sexy Mr. Collins haunted me--the spuds, his halting comment, and that stare of sheer Solanaceae lust got me every time! SO!! I finally thought, ok, I need a treat, and this has to be it. The tee is super soft! The image is really clear and very well printed. The blue is as shown and it's a really lovely muted but rich colour. The type of tee one can wear as a top for bedtime, lounging, and/or with jeans and a cute blazer. I am so happy I finally succumbed to purchasing it. I am very very happy with it! It is the ultimate threesome, me, boiled potatoes, and Mr. Collins. I highly recommend this tee and Inkwell Threads! YAY!

I love this shirt! Perfect quality. True to size fit. The most hilarious meme. I wore this to see the 20th anniversary showing of the 2005 Pride & Prejudice movie. Best. Decision. Ever.

The perfect gift!

I cackled when I saw this shirt and wanted it immediately. Alas, I made myself wait until my birthday to treat myself. I’m so glad I did! I very rarely go to the trouble of leaving reviews, but this shirt is great!

The fabric is relatively thick but not too thick; the stitching seems solid and even; and the print itself seems adhered really well.

I’m only one wash in, but I’m eager to see how the print itself holds up over time. I’ve been mindful to wash it inside out, per the instructions, and so far it doesn’t have any crackles; with some tees I’ve ordered elsewhere, the print started cracking after the first wash.

I’m also curious to see how the neckline manages with wear; I air dry all of my tops, and I find the necklines of some tees tend to stretch weirdly over time. So we’ll see how this one does.

But overall, I’m happy so far! I typically wear a unisex/women’s medium in tees (I’m 5’10, ~150#), but I ordered up and got a large for a more relaxed fit. It’s slightly bigger than I’d anticipated, but I still like it and am happy with the fit.

This shirt will definitely be on heavy rotation for me, and I eagerly await the day someone recognizes the reference. :)

So comfy. Such good quality. The print is fantastic and the shirt fits well for a unisex, which I don't normally like.

My parents and I love Pride & Prejudice. I had showed this shirt to her and she wanted it so I bought it for her. She loves it! I also have a shirt from Inkwell Threads so I know that on top of having fantastic designs, they are very comfortable.

Love the design, but the shirt material was a lot thinner than I expected. The processing and shipping also took longer, which was a little disappointing.

I got a kick out of the boiled potatoes shirt and had to buy it. I also bought the Netherfield Walking Club shirt. The collar on that one is a bit higher on the neck than I'd like, but wearable. I wish the shirts were just a little bit more of a feminine cut to be more flattering.

I LOVE my new shirt. Not only is this a scene from my favorite Pride and Prejudice film, but it fits just lovely! It is an excellent shirt. I wanted an oversized fit, so I chose size large. I usually wear a medium in shirts. This fits well... I love to wear it with bike shorts for jaunts around in my barouche, and it's great for resting at my friend's home when I have a "sore throat, fever, and a headache." Just kidding... it's all around great. The tshirt quality feels heavy with a vintage wash. I quite like it. It's a nice change from super thin Bella brand, which has a time and a place (this is not it).

I wear this at every opportunity. It's perfect.

This shirt is super cute, comfortable, and above all...has Mr. Collins on it.

Worth the spend and the quality was way better than I expected :)
